Our Process ~ At A Glance

From the moment you reach out to share your vision until the final walk-through, our streamlined process ensures every detail is thoughtfully planned and executed. Our standard process is outlined below.

1. Setting Goals

• We’ll start by discussing your vision to better understand your project goals, budget, and expectations.

2. Defining Scope

• We may schedule an on-site visit to gather more information and take measurements of your space. Feel free to send inspiration photos or sketches to info@jemcabinets.com.


3. Estimate, Contract & Deposit

• We’ll meet at our showroom where will will present you with a preliminary cost estimate and review your project’s scope and design.
• After you have approved the preliminary estimate, we will send you a detailed scope of work, a contract to sign, and a deposit request.  This amount is a percentage of the estimated project price, usually 10%. This deposit pays for work completed through the design and pre-construction phase and will be applied toward the total cost of your project.
• After we have received the signed contract and initial deposit, we’ll move forward with the next steps.

4. Design & Pre-Construction


• We’ll finalize your design—making revisions, as needed—and provide you with 3D renderings of your space, drawings for each elevation and/or a floor plan for your approval. 
• We will also present you with a finalized scope and quote which will reflect any changes you have requested during the design process.

5. Material Ordering, Scheduling & Construction

• Upon final design and quote approval, we send the second invoice*.  We'll order materials, complete construction, and coordinate delivery and installation dates, keeping you informed every step of the way.


6. Installation

• Before installation we will send the third invoice.  
• Our expert team will install your cabinetry with precision and care.
• After installation is complete, we’ll send the final invoice.

7. Final Touch-Ups & Project Closeout

• We’ll address any remaining punch-list items, conduct a final walkthrough with you, and officially close out your project—making sure every detail is completed to your satisfaction!
